Smoking Associated With Higher Risk Of Psychoses

The purpose of the study was to find out if young people’s daily cigarette smoking is associated with a risk of psychoses, after accounting for several known, confounding factors, such as alcohol and drug use, the hereditary taint of psychoses and early symptoms of psychosis.
